SUCCESSFUL TAIKO PERFORMANCE AT MUSEUM

BK Taiko had a successful, well received performance at the National Museum of Nuclear Science & History for their Annual Asian Pacific Islander celebration. With BK Taiko’s recent loss of a performer they have had to adapt their performance pieces to a smaller group size. The new arrangement debuted well at the Museum.

ALBUQUERQUE JOURNAL ARTICLE

Some exciting news, recently some Bushido Kenkyukai Karate students, Taiko Students, some Parents of Taiko students, and our head Instructor were interviewed by the Albuquerque Journal. The Journal was intrigued that our head Instructor is an Astrophysicist, Karate Instructor, Taiko Player, and Drum maker. This article is great news for the dojo and we are excited to see the outcome.

The article is expected to appear in the Sunday Albuquerque Journal June 30th in the Living section. We will post links to the article on our webpage and Facebook pages as soon as it appears. Additionally we will have a copy posted in the Dojo.
