BK Taiko performed at the ABQ BioPark Friday August 14th for the Obon festival Honoring the Ancestors. We spoke to a photo reporter from the ABQ Journal and a few of our students ended up in Monday’s paper.

BK Taiko opened the event with a procession from the main BioPark plaza to the Green Pavilion where we performed 2 sets. We also led the audience in the traditional Tanko Bushi festival dance in the BioPark Ceremonial Garden.
